Analyzing the reports for knee arthroscopy surgeries<\/strong> taken from the latest 2024 edition of the National Outcomes Program (PNE) <\/strong>of AGENAS<\/strong> (National Agency for Regional Health Services), with reference to data related to thecare activity provided in the year 2023<\/strong>, we note an increasing volume of hospitalizations in recent years <\/strong>, which is above the treemap threshold of 80 cases from 2021 to 2023.<\/p>\n

Conducted annually, the program collects and analyzes, as it is now known, data on health care<\/strong> delivery in order to provide comparative assessments of the effectiveness, safety, appropriateness and quality of care<\/strong> delivered nationwide.<\/p>\n

As we can see from the chart below, SantaBarbara Hospital<\/strong> ranks well ahead in Sicily in terms of volume of admissions for knee arthroscopy procedures. <\/strong>This is a very important result that makes us proud and satisfied with the work of our entire Orthopedics Department.<\/p>\n

In support of the latter data, our facility also ranks among the only 7 in Sicily<\/strong> that have ADJ data for the indicator referring to knee arthroscopy with reintervention within 6 months<\/strong>; among these, in particular, SantaBarbara Hospital is among the top three with a reintervention rate of zero.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These figures are also a further and very important confirmation of the quality and safety of the care<\/strong> provided by our facility each year, as well as theconstant commitment of our team of specialists and experienced staff<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
