Reservation and how to make reservations

Hospitalization at the expense of the National Health Service (NHS)

For accredited specialties, the patient is entitled to hospitalization at the full cost of the N.H.S..
Patients are usually admitted at 8 a.m., upon acceptance at the appropriate office.
The patient may request a higher level of hotel treatment, which consists of the possibility of having a single room with more hotel comforts (TV, set-courtesy, telephone, mini bar) and the use of a bed for the companion.
In these cases, the patient will have to provide a financial supplement, the amount of which determined by the Administration will be brought to the patient’s attention before admission.

Hospitalization in Private Regime

The patient may request hospitalization with charges paid entirely by himself or by insurance companies.
In these cases, hospitalization takes place in a single room with the major hotel comforts and the possibility of a bed for an accompanying person.
The patient will have to pay all amounts related to medical/surgical and hotel treatment, the amount of which will be predetermined by the Administration and brought to the patient’s attention before admission.

Reservation via website (Online Clinic)

For services affiliated with the SSN, after registering or authenticating, enter the number of the electronic prescription issued by the general practitioner; then go on to select the service required and the appointment date, chosen from those available, in order to complete the booking.
For services in private practice, select the service requested and, if necessary, the name of the physician, choose the appointment date from those available, proceed to your own registration or authentication, and complete the reservation.
Immediately after booking, the patient will receive an email and a text message with a link to download a document containing information about the preparation (e.g., fasting, medications, etc.) required by the booked service, which can also be accessed from the page with the reservation list.
The patient will be able to consult the list of his or her reservations at any time and, if necessary, cancel the appointments entered in the diary.

For hospitalizations paid for by the National Health Service (NHS).

Reservations may be made only on the basis of a prescription from the general practitioner; the electronic prescription number must be provided at the time of reservation.

For admissions to the Private Regime

Reservations may also be made on the basis of a specialist’s prescription formulated following an outpatient examination performed at the nursing home or other health facilities.

The administrative officer receiving the reservation will inform the applicant of the expected date of admission or, if this is not possible immediately, will reserve the right to call the applicant back later.
