Pain therapy
The pain therapy (also called antalgic therapy o pain medicine) is a medical specialty aimed at increase the quality of life of patients suffering from pain symptoms.
Indeed, while it is true that in some cases pain cannot be permanently removed, it can be treated and alleviated through the many techniques available to the specialist algologist after the causes that originate it have been identified.
The following are performed by our team interventions for the treatment of acute and chronic pain: spinal cord neurostimulation (pulsed radiofrequency), pharmacologic infiltration of anesthetics and steroids, laser discectomy of herniated discs, kyphoplasty for vertebral collapses, facet joint neurolysis, peripheral pulsed radiofrequency for interesting joint diseases knee, hip, shoulder, treatment of shingles.
